LDA warns of illegal housing colony

LAHORE : The Lahore Development Authority has restrained the people from purchasing plots in an illegal housing scheme situated adjacent to Sultan Town, off Raiwind Road in Mauza Niaz Beg.

According to an LDA spokesman, some elements are selling plots in this illegal scheme near the University of Lahore.

“As no formal approval has been obtained from LDA, the intending buyers are advised not to purchase plots in this scheme for their own personal interest,” the spokesman said in a statement on Monday.

FORMS: Application forms for admission to intermediate classes in pre-medical, pre-engineering, ICS and arts in two LDA Model Higher Secondary Schools for Boys, situated at Jahanzeb Block of Allama Iqbal Town and H-Block of Sabzazar scheme are currently being issued to the students desiring for admission.

According to a press release, complete applications along with attested copies of testimonials will be received till Aug 18.

Scrutiny of documents and interviews of candidates will commence from Aug 27.

Candidates are required to submit two attested copies of matriculation result card, three fresh passport size photographs, a copy of the character certificate and two copies of CNIC of father/guardian. Candidates passing secondary school from other boards will have to furnish NOC in this regard.

NOTICE: District Coordination Officer Noorul Amin Mengal has taken action over accumulated rainwater in Sarfraz Colony, Imtiaz Road and Ali Public School and directed the Wasa administration to drain it out immediately.
