CDA negligent towards Kashmir Highway Project
ISLAMABAD – Work on Kashmir Highway mega project is going through delays due to negligence and indifference of the Capital Development Authority.
According to details, one of the two contractors of the mega project has been deprived of the payments due, affecting the work-progress. He has warned that if the arrears are not paid to him, he will stop working on the project. Sources said the other contractor has got connections with the presidency and his bills are paid regularly.
It merits mentioning here that according to the plan, the Kashmir Highway mega project is to be completed till February 2013 but there are no prospects of its completion on time.
