Illegal constructions on the rise in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI - Illegal construction is on the rise in the city with the connivance of Cantonment board officers and building inspectors in Rawalpindi.
Illegal construction in areas of Bank Road Sadder, Haiderabad, Hospital Road, Police Station Road and Railway Road is causing loss of millions of rupees to the national treasury.
Building inspectors turned a blind eye towards the illegal constructions after allegedly receiving hefty bribes. These owners are violating building by law is causing loss of millions to the government.
