Property tax record to be computerised

RAWALPINDI - The Excise and Taxation Department (E&T) Rawalpindi has decided to computerise property tax record of the city.

Sources said that computerised forms would be brought from Lahore and concerned staff would start feeding of the forms in computer soon.

Senior Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), Shahzad Malik said that there are 170,000 commercial and residential units in Rawalpindi city.

He said that tax has been received from these units, adding that if any unit was not accessed, concerned officials would be directed to access the said units.
