Alamgir starts tour to inspect NHA projects
ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Communications Dr Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil on Tuesday embarked upon a countrywide tour to inspect and ensure timely completion of all ongoing NHA projects throughout the country.
The Minister instructed all officials to keep construction quality and timely completion as their top priority with regard to these projects and also clarified that no laxity and negligence would be tolerated in this regard. Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan Khalil visited under-construction Hasan Abadal-Mansehra Highway (E-35) on Tuesday, and tomorrow he will distribute cheques among the affectees of Peshawar Northern Bypass.
In a statement, he said that he is determined to complete in time all NHA projects so that the government may be able to fulfill all its promises made to the nation. Alamgir Khan said no compromise would be made on quality and standard.
The Minister said that plan has decided to further enhance the performance of motorway police in order to maintain its reputation as one of the leading Motorway Police in the world. Khan said he was personally visiting all projects to monitor progress.
