CDA set to open tender for development tomorrow.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is all set to open tenders for the development of the housing scheme, Park Enclave, tomorrow (Monday) to start with the construction of a boundary wall and the access road of the project.

As many as 18 prominent construction companies have purchased the tender documents from the CDA showing their keen interest in the development work of the scheme on Park Road of Islamabad.

CDA Chairman Engineer Farkhand Iqbal said on Saturday that the authority is committed for the early development of Park Enclave and work would commence with the completion of tendering process. After beginning the work on the boundary wall, the development of the allied facilities would be initiated. He said that CDA has sufficient funds for the development of the scheme and the perception of utilising the funds for the salaries is not correct.

He said that CDA has 100% possession of the land for the Park Enclave and there is no issue whatsoever of the land on which the housing scheme has been envisaged. The CDA chairman said that the whole area of the Park Enclave has already been demarcated and work for development of the scheme would be awarded soon.

Apprising about the development process of Park Enclave, the CDA chairman said the development work on project would be completed at the earliest. He said the Park Enclave would have underground utilities, water treatment plant, rainwater harvesting mechanism, open-air restaurants, clubhouse and controlled access at main gate. He said that CDA has started a new era of development activities in federal capital with the development of residential sectors at top.
