30 acres of railway land retrieved
KARACHI - Commissioner Roshan Ali Shaikh on Thursday said a big operation against encroachments on railway lands was launched in which 30 acres were recovered near Gilani railway station, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He said earlier in other operations along 5km-long track between Wazir Mansion and Gulbai railway stations were completed by demolishing about 165 structures. He said all stakeholders were taking part in joint operations to vacate the grabbed railway lands on the directives of Supreme Court.
