Housing Scheme: Punjab University teachers to get ownership letters soon
Vice Chancellor Punjab University Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over a meeting of Employees Housing Scheme's Management Committee in his office committee room.
The vice chancellor briefed the committee members about the final approval of map of Town-I by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
The meeting decided the early distribution of ownership letters of residential plots to members of Town-I as per decision of the syndicate.
The meeting was also informed that soon after completion of approval of map of Town-II by the LDA, which was in the last stage, work on distribution of ownership letters of plots to the members would be started.
The vice chancellor instructed the officers concerned to make possible efforts for settlement of issues with LDA on urgent basis.
After hearing news, a wave of happiness was witnessed among varsity teachers and employees who appreciated the fruitful efforts of the vice chancellor in this regard and thanked him for resolving their longstanding issues.
The vice chancellor also appreciated the efforts of Raja Munawar saying he had played an important role in resolving various problems of the university.
