LAHORE (APP) - Various social organisations, including Majlis Samaji Karkunan Pakistan have thanked Chief Executive Officer Walton Cantt Board Khursheed Khan and Chief Engineer Sheikh Muhammad Niaz for launching work of flyover on Walton Road.
In a joint statement issued here Tuesday, Majlis Samaji Karkunan Pakistan President Ch Khalid Pervaiz, Malik Muhammad Ramzan, Ch Zahid and Sufi Sharif said that Walton Road was one of the busiest roads in the city and due to non-availability of flyover there, the people had to face difficulties.
They said that private schools on either side of the road had made it difficult for students to cross it and many students had already lost their lives and others injured while crossing the road.
And, now after the completion of flyover on Walton Road the possibility of road accidents would be minimised besides facilitating the people.
