Water shortage is common in summer: CDA spokesman
ISLAMABAD: While talking to Daily Times CDA spokesman Ramzan Sajid said the city witnessed water shortage in summer, because the utilization of water increases in summer. Therefore more complaints of water shortage arose in summer as compared to winters. The shortage of water had also caused load shedding in the city. He also said that federal development authorities were taking effective measures to improve the water supply system. When asked about not nonfunctioning of tube wells, Sajid said he was aware of issue and had ordered transfer to concern department of CDA for make defected tube well in working condition. He said that CDA would soon launch campaign to take measures for solving the problem of water loss and proper supply of water. Those involved in causing loss of water will be charged with fine. When asked about the charges of water tankers, he assured to take action against the culprits.
