LAHORE – The authorities concerned are bent upon demolition of houses and commercial areas in the Kharak area, and the owners are still waiting due compensation, who are being pushed from one office to another with the same reply, ‘we don’t have yours documents’.
As per details, the Punjab government has initiated a project of widening the Multan Road. Moreover, from Qazi Town Kharak Nullah to Sabzazaar road is being widened at the cost of the residences and commercial areas. As per people of the area, so far papers are incomplete, and the authorities have made three demarcations encompassing 24, 80 and 90 feet of the area along the Nullah.
