Lahore - The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) announced on Friday that it will start a special recovery campaign for collecting the commercialisation fee from owners and occupants of properties being used for business purposes in areas under its jurisdiction.
People have been advised to deposit outstanding dues without further delay, as special recovery teams have been constituted in this regard. These teams were going door-to door and properties, of which dues were not being paid were being sealed without being served further notice. The LDA Recovery Directorate has collected Rs 400 million during the past two and a half months on account of the annual and permanent commercialisation fee, from various localities of the provincial metropolis.
The LDA also advised owners of properties on 37 roads and segments of roads, where commercial activity has been allowed, to get their properties permanently commercialised.
