CHIEF Minister Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated the 25th Lahore International Book Fair at Expo Center here on Thursday. He visited different stalls and took keen interest in books. Talking on the occasion, the CM said books were a treasure of knowledge and the Punjab government would encourage book reading. He welcomed the holding of international book fair and said that it would satisfy the thirst for knowledge of students and other readers and help promote literature. He expressed his views in German language at the stall of the Voice of Germany regarding the book fair. Prominent intellectual Najam Sethi and a large number of book lovers were also present on the occasion.
