CDA to launch drive for recovery of Rs 61m from defaulters
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to launch a campaign for recovery of Rs 61 million outstanding dues on account of property tax, water and allied charges from 77 defaulting owners of the commercial and residential buildings.
CDA Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi has directed the Revenue Directorate to expedite the campaign for recovery of dues and initiate legal action against the defaulters who fail to clear their dues, sources told Daily Times on Friday.
They said in the first phase notices would be issued to the defaulters for immediate payment of the dues.
According to CDA record, Rs 47 million are outstanding against the owners of 478 commercial buildings.
