THE Punjab government on Monday formed a task force to make the city beautiful, green and hygienic. The task force will also keep an eye on horticulture activity in all over Punjab.
According to a press release, Mustafa Kamal is chairman of the task force while secretary of Housing, Forest and Agriculture, Parks and Horticulture Authority director general and personal staff officer of the chief minister are members of the task force. Meanwhile, Mustafa Kamal directed the PHA directors to upgrade the Lahore parks as per international standard. He also ordered them to remove encroachments on greenbelts in the city. He also visited the city and directed the staff to reduce the number of billboards and auction the rest in a transparent manner.
