Government will hold meetings with builders and developers in order to submit the suggestions to government on low cost housing for poor people, said Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh and head Peoples Housing Cell (PHC), Zia-ul-Islam.
He was speaking at an introductory meeting with prominent builders and developers of Sindh on Monday. They discussed peoples housing plan and reviewed other related issues. He said that the government has selected land at different places across the province where builders will be invited to prepare master plan so as to construct houses for people of low-income groups at low cost. He said that the government will also construct commercial centres for the residents to provide economic development opportunities. He further said that builders and developers will endure all construction expenses and earn profit through its marketing.
