LAHORE: Parents of a Supreme Court Judge Justice Javed Iqbal were found dead in their home here on Tuesday night.
According to initial report, parents of Justice Javed Iqbal were murdered during an armed robbery in their residence in Lahore. Justice Jawed’s deceased father, Abdul Majeed, was a former D.I.G of police.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry reached at Javed Iqbal’s home after receiving information about the issue.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed his grief over murder of Justice Iqbal’s parents and assured that the involved persons would soon be arrested.
Justice Javed Iqbal is head of the Supreme Court tribunal working for the release of missing persons.
