LAHORE: Punjab University’s 119th Convocation dress rehearsal will be held today (Friday) at the Faisal Auditorium, New Campus, Lahore. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Jamil Anwar Chaudhry, Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Examinations Controller Dr Zahid Karim Khan, all faculty deans, principals of colleges, directors of institutes and heads of departments in addition to 790 MPhil/PhD scholars, masters and undergraduates will participate in the full dress rehearsal.
The convocation would be held on Saturday. They have been further directed to follow the instructions already conveyed to them along with the admit card in strict conformity during the convocation. The students must wear costumes both on the full dress rehearsal and convocation days. The students, who have to travel from outside Lahore, have been advised in their own interest to keep themselves up to date with regards to the likely inclement weather conditions to avoid any inconvenience due to their late arrival.
