LAHORE: A bill, providing Temporary Legal Status (TLS) to the illegal Pakistanis residing in the US, has been presented in the Congress for approval, Geo News reported late Thursday.
The public representatives from the Democratic Party presented the draft demanding the Pakistanis residing in the US to be provided temporary nationality of the country.
In US, this facility is given to immigrants of the countries hit by natural calamities.
Pakistan’s envoy to US Ambassador Hussain Haqqani has welcomed the bill, presented in US Congress, saying that it would provide legal protection to the Pakistanis illegally residing in US, the channel said.
