Aashiana Housing Project Punjab Government Application Form
Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a meeting here on Wednesday to review the progress with regard to low-cost housing schemes.
The chief minister said the Punjab government had decided to start low cost housing schemes for low-income groups, and three, four and five-marla houses would be built under the Aashiana Housing Project. He said that those having monthly income less than Rs 20,000 would be eligible to own a house. He said the Aashiana Housing Project would initially be started in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Jhelum districts and later it would be extended to other districts. He directed that 10 percent quota be reserved for widows, orphans of martyred personnel of police and Army in the low-cost housing schemes.
Earlier, Punjab Land Development Company Chairman Sheikh Allaudin informed the meeting about the progress on the project and said that application forms had been prepared for homes while five information desks would be established in the company’s office. He said that a website would be launched with regard to the Aashiana Housing Project having all details of the project.
