LAHORE: Federal Law Minister Babar Awan has rejected the corruption report submitted by Transparency International on Pakistan.

The report, released on Tuesday, said that Pakistan ranks 34th in the world’s most corrupt nations.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Awan said that Transparency International is a paper organization, which has no credibility in the matter.

Terming the report a drone attack on Pakistan’s economy, he said it is aimed at destabilizing the country.

He alleged that TI chairman Adil Gilani is a member of the Task Force established by Takht-e-Lahore (Throne of Lahore).
