Inquiry against CDA ordered
ISLAMABAD: The government has taken serious notice of failure of Capital Development Authority’s Disaster Management Cell (DMC) in extinguishing fire that reduced Marriott Hotel to ashes after a suicide bombing and has ordered an inquiry against the civic body to fix the responsibility. Sources told this news agency on Tuesday that the government had provided a grant to CDA for up-gradation of fire brigade following a fire at Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat some years ago. online
