LAHORE: The administration, faculty members and several other employees at Shaikh Zayed Hospital donated their one-day’s salary in funds for the flood victims, Daily Times has learnt.

The hospital authorities have also set up a relief camp to collect dry eatables, clothes, shoes, dry milk, medicines, blankets and money for the aid of flood victims. Shaikh Zayed Hospital Dean Dr Anwar A Khan requested all the countrymen to come forward and help the “ailing humanity in this hour of need”. According to the hospital’s spokesperson, the funds can be deposited directly into the hospital’s bank account as well.

Separately, on the instructions of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, an 11-member medical team of Lahore General Hospital has departed for Rajanpur in order to provide proper medical treatment and protection against diseases to the flood affectees.
