Sindh Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy Shaikh Mohammed Afzal has shown deep concern over fake housing schemes in the city and said that stern action should be taken against those deceiving innocent people.
He expressed these views while talking to different delegations during his visit to various parts of Korangi. He was accompanied by relevant town officers.
He said it was the need of the hour to take action against the owners of fake housing schemes, cooperative societies and land grabbers so that the masses of the province including Karachi could be saved from suffering heavy losses.
He said that fake housing schemes had a network in the cities of Sindh who operators were looting the people. It was the responsibility of the citizens to seek confirmation from the relevant offices of the government before making investment in such schemes, he added.
He asked the press and electronic media not to publish the commercial advertisements of the fake housing and cooperative schemes without their permission.
