KARACHI: The demolishing squads of the Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) have razed and sealed various illegal structures including a CNG station in different areas of the city. On the directives of KBCA Chief Controller Manzoor Qadir, a squad demolished the partition walls of an illegal CNG station located at plot no 2, Sector 16 in Gulshan-e-Bihar, Orangi Town and sealed its premises. The Sindh ombudsman had ordered to shut down the illegal CNG station; however, the plot owner did not comply with the order. Similarly, a demolition team under the supervision of KBCA Deputy Controller Ayaz Khan razed 27 shops located at plot no MR-1, 42 and other shops located at plot no WO-6, 16 in Saddar Town. Meanwhile, other demolishing teams removed illegal structures in Liaquatabad plot no 53/3, 1-J, Nazimabad, Baldia Town plot no 7, Landhi Town Korangi Industrial Area plot no 52, Sector KIA 28, Jamshed Town plot no S-5 PRCHS, fifth floor in Gulshan-e-Zafar, plot no S-1, Garden East plot no 125, Gulshan-e-Iqbal plot no PP-14, plot no 40 in Block 3, Bihar Muslim Cooperative Housing Society.
