Punjab assembly members from various districts met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif at the assembly chambers here on Wednesday and apprised him of development activities and problems of the people of their respective areas.

Talking to the parliamentarians, the chief minister said that the government was utilizing maximum resources for the speedy development of the province and the provision of basic amenities to the masses, and a record amount of Rs 193 billion had been allocated in the new budget for uplift projects.

He said that the completion of development schemes would result in availability of better facilities to the masses. He said that a comprehensive strategy had been adopted for the timely and transparent completion of development project, ensuring a high standard of uplift projects.

He said that the elected representatives should also maintain a close contact with the people for the solution of their problems and ensure timely completion of uplift projects.

Those who met the chief minister included Raheela Khadim Hussain, Malik Jalal-ud-Din Dhakko, Sardar Atif Hussain Khan Mazari, Ahsan Raza Khan, Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan and Rai Farooq Umer Khan Kharal.
