ISLAMABAD: A 62-year-old man in Arifwala has been in chains for the last 52 years, Geo News reported on Wednesday.
According to the channel, Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah was chained by his family in 1956 “because he had gone insane”. The family told the channel that they had locked Shah to save his life. They said that he was chained up for his own good. Shah’s detention became known when some residents of the area reported the matter to the police. app
