Sindh Law Minister Muhammad Ayaz Soomro said that an anti-encroachment operation would be launched in the province with the help of the law-enforcement agencies to get lands vacated from illegal occupation of the land mafia.
He stated this while talking to the media representatives at the Sindh Assembly building after chairing a high-level meeting of officials of the Board of Revenue and law officers.
The minister said that the law officers would approach the court and will request it not to issue stay orders against anti-encroachment drive immediately.
Instead, he said, the law officers would request the court to give at least 24-hour notice in this regard.
