The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has identified 1,440 kanals of land in Islamabad for a housing scheme for parliamentarians but Senators Prof Khurshid Ahmed and Pervez Rashid have firmly dismissed such an enclave for the MPs.
On a proposal to establish such a housing scheme, the Prime MinisterĂs Secretariat sought views/comments from the CDA upon which the authority identified 180 acres of land for the scheme in Zone IV along the Kurri Road Islamabad, an official letter, a copy of which is available with The News, said.
