Karachi: The SHC directed the Karachi Building Control Authority’s chief controller to deal with all violators of laws without any discrimination. Petitioner Sarwat Javed submitted that her plot IV-E/11,10 in Nazimabad, Karachi, was not being declared commercialised by the CDGK, even though it had declared the ‘A’ road between Lasbella Bridge to Nazimabad Bridge as commercial. On Thursday, the CDGK district officer (MPGO) conceded that illegal building activities were continuing in the area in violation of the laws. The SHC division bench comprising Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Tufail H Ebrahim directed the KBCA chief controller to enforce the law and deal with violators without any discrimination.
