LAHORE: Following negotiations between top officials of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Electricity Department and WAPDA, Mirpur district has been exempted from load shedding, reported a private TV channel on Wednesday. The chief engineer of the AJK Electricity Department and senior WAPDA officials held the talks in Mirpur after hundreds of Kashmiris took to the streets in protest at unannounced load shedding.
